Biography/Personality:
Kirihara is playful and mischievous, a brat, and short-tempered at times. Though having a myriad of emotions, ambition and a yearning to prove herself the best at whatever she does are constants in her life. Becoming the best in volleyball has been an aspiration of hers for a rather long time. Recognizing her own clumsiness and slightly clueless nature as she continues to fumble through the awkward teenage years, Kirihara knows she can overcome any obstacle and face any opponent without fear. A stubborn drive and passion pushes her forward through the hardships, unable to do anything but strain to the best of her abilities.
She’s always felt she’s identified more with the boys, forgoing the stereotypical girlish aspects of life. Much of her school years have been spent transferring from place to place, as at each school her shortness of temper would get the better of her. Violent outbursts led to arguments with other students, both genders alike, and gained her a reputation for being a fighter. Ayaka holds grudges whenever she feels like it, and looks back only when her inner demon makes her think twice.
Family life has been more or less average for Kirihara; a frequently absent father, pushy older brother, and overly-strict mother make up his home life. More than happy to escape to a new life, she’s packed up her things with gusto and moved into the dorms at Evergreen.
